Disclosure of foreign meetings
IPBRICS, the forum established by the BRICS countries to address intellectual property issues collectively, succeeded in establishing the Structure of IPBRICS to streamline cooperation activities. In the 1st BRICS Heads of IP Meeting held in South Africa in 2013, IPBRICS adopted a cooperation roadmap for intellectual property, outlining key areas of focus and action. In the 2nd BRICS Heads of IP Offices (HIPO) meeting, all amendments to the Roadmap were adopted by member offices. This roadmap provided a strategic framework for advancing cooperation in intellectual property, particularly in training, public awareness, information services, and IP processes and procedures.
